Botox is used to improve the appearance of expression lines such as crow's feet, frown lines and worry lines on the forehead. It works by preventing signals from the nerve cells reaching muscles, effectively leaving the muscles without instructions to contract, and so they become paralyzed.
The procedure is non-surgical. A botox treatment can be performed by the nurse in the salon. There is virtually no recovery time necessary and you can resume your normal activites immediately after treatment.
Complimentary Consultations available.
Botox is administered by diluting the powder in saline (sodium chloride) and injecting it directly into neuromuscular tissue. It usually takes around 24 to 72 hours for the injections to take effect, and they are a great non surgical method for getting rid of wrinkles or lines on your face.
